Test Taking Tips for Parents:

1. Make sure that your child does all their homework and reading assignments which will help make sure your child is prepared for the test.

 2. Provide a quiet, well lighted area with little distractions to help your child study efficiently. 
 
3. Make sure that your child gets enough sleep on the night before the test. 
 
4. Ensure that your child eats a healthy breakfast and avoid heavy foods that may make him/her groggy and avoid high sugar foods that may make him/her hyper. 
 
5. Make sure that your child gets up early enough so that he/she will be on time to school. 
 
6. If your child is struggling on their tests, talk to them about it and meet with their teacher to find out the best way to help your child. 
 
7. Praise/reward your child when they do well on a test or for their hard work preparing for a test.

1. Asegurese que su hijo haga toda su tarea y sus asignaciones de lecturea, esto le dejara saber que esta preparado para el examen.
 
2. Proporciónele un área tranquila e iluminada para que su hijo/a pueda estudiar sin ninguna distracción.

3. Asegúrese que su hijo/a duerma lo suficiente la noche anterior al examen. 

4. Asegúrese de que su hijo coma un desayuno saludable y evite las comidas pesadas que pueden hacer que su hijo/a se sienta lleno o comidas con azúcar que lo pongan hiperactivo. 
 
5. Asegúrese que su hijo se levante temprano para que llegue a tiempo a la escuela. 
 
6. Si su hijo/a tiene dificultades en el examen, hable con el y reúnase con su maestro para poder encontrar la mejor manera de ayudarlo/a. 

7. Recompense a su hijo/a cuando le va bien en el
examen o por haberse preparado para la evaluación.
