May in Michigan = Stormy Weather

As the cold and snowy winter fades further and further into the past, we gladly welcome the arrival of warmer weather to Detroit.  But warm May weather brings with it the possibility and likelihood of storms and other severe weather conditions.  School staff work hard to ensure the safety of every CCA student by monitoring weather conditions and making sure that emergency drills are rehearsed so that everyone knows what to do in the event of dangerous weather conditions.

DTE Energy, a community partner in education, offers tips to students (and non-students), reminding us all that downed power lines are a real danger even after the severe weather passes.  Stay alert and stay safe!
