Dr. Juan José Martínez
Director of District Operations and
School Leader - César Chávez Academy High School
Dr. Juan Jose Martinez is a Detroit native, born and raised in the heart of Detroit. He holds his Doctorate in Education from Wayne State University focusing on Curriculum and Instruction, Bilingual, Bicultural Education.
Dr. Martínez has decades of experience in the field of education. He began his professional career working at CHASS Health Center, moving later to Detroit Public School. His dedication to serving students led him to continue his work at Wayne State University where he was a counselor. At this time he was also serving as a member of the Detroit Board of Education. His work did not stop there, he continued and changed gears to become Assistant to the Hon. Dennis W. Archer and later as Chief of Staff, Hon. Sheila Cockrel. His passion for education was always in him. This was when he chose to come and continue supporting his Detroit community at César Chávez Academy High School were he has been the school leaders for more than 10 years and the Director of District Operations since 2016.

Mr. Agustin Guerrero-Flores
Data and Technology
Agustin Guerrero-Flores was born in a small village in Guanajuato, Mexico, and then moved to Detroit, Michigan when he was in the third grade. Agustin is a proud graduate of Cesar Chavez Academy High School and now is thrilled to be part of the University of Pennsylvania working on his Bachelor's of Arts in Hispanic Studies and Mathematics.

Mr. Guerrero-Flores has been part of César Chávez Academy and The Leona Group since his junior year in high school. He started as a Math tutor supporting the CCAHS' summer program in Precalculus and Algebra 2. He then moved to the administrative side of education working as an office aide and admin assistant . His passion for technology and data-based-decision making took him to his current position where he works closely with the five office managers and Director of Compliance in local, state, and national reporting. With 5 years working with CCA, his area of knowledge are: PowerSchool, Technology Purchasing, State Pupil Accounting and MDE Graduation Curriculum, and Marketting.
